Still, Rising Storm was a quick and entertaining read, despite focusing too much on Cloudpaw’s bratty behavior and Bluestar’s worsening condition. Rising Storm is book 4 of the original arc, and it’s definitely not as exciting as the previous three, what with Tigerclaw’s evil scheming and Tigerclaw himself not being very present in this book. So I’m gradually making my way through rereading all the Warriors books. I think All boys and girls would like it.įind this review and more fantastical things at The Leaning Tower of Tomes. I would recommend this book for ages ten and up. Everyone has to cross the river in Riverclan. They bring Cloudpaw back and there is a fire in the forest. Ravenpaw finds Fireheart and Sandstorm and says he found Cloudpaw. Fireheart attacks Tigerclaw, but when Riverclan cats come, he runs away. The next day, Fireheart sends out partrols, and Runningwind gets killed by Tigerclaw. Fireheart warns him to follow the warrior code, but Cloudpaw doesn't listen, and he gets stolen from two-legs. Fireheart soon realizes that Cloudpaw is goin to a two-leg house ( human ) and eats kitty pet food. A short while after that, Fireheat gets his new apprentice Cloudpaw, his nephew. I want to know, why did Cloudpaw keep leaving if he didn't want to? And also, why does Tigerclaw want to be leader if no one likes him?Īfter Fireheart defeats Tigerclaw, he is banned by Bluestar, and he is never to set foot on Thunder clan. This book was great! I loved the part when Tigerclaw came and he was fighting Fireheart. (I've only read 4 so I'm sure they will get even better than this!)

It was by far the best Warriors book I've read. I rate this 5 stars because it was thrilling and I never wanted to put it down. Erin Hunter just had to leave us all hanging, didn't she? That ending, I finished this at about 12:30 am last night (I'm writing my review late I know, I've been busy today.) and I already wanted to pick up book 5 and read on about Tigerclaw and the gathering. MY HEART, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? I love Yellowfang, I am honestly devastated she died, I couldn't stop crying :( Then they found her alive and I was so happy and I felt like crying with joy but then, then, she did die. I knew she wasn't going to live and my heart was beating so fast as I read on. I knew it was going to happen as she is on the cover with the fire behind her. This book was heartbreaking, I was thoroughly enjoying it until Yellowfang wanted to help Fireheart rescue the elders and Bramblekit. That was my first reaction to the ending of the book.ĭo not read past here if you don't want to spoil the book for yourself. "WHAT NO ? THIS CANT BE HAPPENING ? WHY ? I'M SO ANGRY !!!!"
